Meet Our Staff
I’m originally from New York, but decided to travel all the way across the country to pursue my dream of being a preschool owner! I knew caring for little-ones was my life’s purpose. My ultimate goal was to provide quality and loving care to our future world-changers. It’s extremely important for me to give lifelong tools, a unique educational experience, specialized care and beautiful memories to your Wild and Wonderful children.
Education & Experience:
I graduated from West Virginia University with a BA in Sociology and Anthropology. I minored in Child Development and Family studies. Then, I went on to take graduate courses in Educational Leadership.
I began working in the early education field during my years of undergrad. I started as a volunteer, then assistant teacher, preschool teacher, resource teacher, program leader, assistant director, director…and now owner of two schools! The experience I have in every role has helped me flourish as the founder!
I was born and raised right here in Portland, Oregon. I grew up in a Mexican American household with lots of siblings and family. I am the youngest of my siblings and I knew early on I had a passion for caring for little ones. I began babysitting for my family at 11 years old, and when I turned 15 I got my first job working in a licensed child care facility where I worked after school as a Teachers Assistant. I worked all through high school, and became Lead Teacher qualified as soon as I graduated. I was a Lead teacher for 5 years before I decided to take on a management role which I've now been doing for 2 years! I am passionate about giving our educators the tools they need to create a successful classroom. My main goal is to help teach the children to be self advocates, and to create a nurturing environment that feels like a second home to the children.
